This region is enriched with several idyllic beaches, which are as picturesque as you can imagine. Some of the most popular sea beaches are Baga, Calangute, Anjuna, Arambol, etc. In addition, Goa has other attractions such as the Chapora Fort, Aguada Fort, Basilica of Bom Jesus, etc. Your Goa travel will start with exploring the beautiful spots of North Goa. First, visit the Old City, which served as the Portuguese capital from the 16th to the 18th century. Next, admire the beauty of the much-revered Basilica of Bom Jesus, exuberating the finest examples of Baroque-style architecture. This church holds the remains of Saint Francis Xavier, the man behind the Society of Jesus. You will also witness the exemplary architecture of a few other churches, including the Se Cathedral, Church of St. Monica, and St. Francis of Assisi. These churches unravel the authentic culture and depict the magnificence of Goa during olden times. Visit the Museum of Christian Art, which exudes aristocratic opulence. It is one of a kind and flaunts an extensive collection of Christian art. The exhibits display precious stones, metals, furniture, ivory statues, textiles, sculptures, etc. Next, you will be getting a closer look at the Archaeological Museum, housing the artifacts from the Portuguese era. Afterward, visit Museum Solar Souto Maior, an important place to visit in Goa in 4 days. It is the oldest surviving heritage house in Goa registered under UNESCO. The 16th-century stately mansion is a treasure trove of unique artifacts. Finally, drive back to Goa's capital Panaji and soak up the true essence of Goa in its colonial architecture. Later, wander around the city and teleport to the ancient period. Make sure to scour the Goan markets and buy souvenirs/gifts for your loved ones. Grab a delicious lunch at Panjim before heading to Baga Beach, one of the thriving spots in Goa. The rest of the time is free for leisure activities. Engage in a water sport or shop from the Tibetan Market; it depends on you. The second day of your 4 days Goa trip ends after returning to the resort.

Day 3 : South Goa

After your breakfast, get ready to be driven towards South Goa. The sightseeing begins with exploring Margao, the cultural and commercial capital. After that, you will be visiting the heavenly Colva Beach, Shanta Durga Temple, Mangeshi Temple, Largo de Igreja, and other well-known spots. Largo de Igreja is a lovely place you will visit during your Goa tour that exhibits traditional old Portuguese mansions. The area flaunts the Church of the Holy Spirit, one of the oldest in the region, built in the 16th century. The splendid architecture and the elegant craftsmanship will ignite your imagination and take you back in time. Later, you will be heading to Ancestral Goa, a unique museum located at Loutolim, 10 km from Margao. Here, you can witness an art gallery and a handicraft center offering locally made artifacts. The main highlight of this museum is the gigantic sculpture of Sant Mirabai, a great devotee of Lord Krishna. This 14-meters long statue is regarded as India's longest laterite sculpture. Another attraction is the bigfoot; a massive footprint discovered when the site was excavated. Your Goa trip package is incomplete without visiting the Menezes Braganza mansion. It is a 17th-century palatial heritage house, one of the most exquisite mansions that boast a museum filled with period furniture, crystals, paintings, and other antique treasures. The mansion is located in the village of Chandor and has two wings with 24 windows, the East and the West Wing. The East Wing is owned by one set of the Pereira Braganza family descendants and features a huge ballroom and a family chapel that has carefully preserved a relic of St. Francis Xavier. The West Wing belongs to another family's descendants and looks more exquisite. In addition, it houses an extensive library of Luis de Menezes Braganza, a famous journalist who played an integral role in Goa's Freedom Movement.
